Warrior Alien

I did this a few years back and very few have seen this. Its 1/6ths scale it was bought from ebay and forgot the cost around $100. If you know me i am quite in love with the alien films and always trying to find models as true to the movies as possible this is quite hard. As most of the models out there are just action fingers and are over priced crap.

RIP Nana Robo

My dear old Nana past away this morning, a sad day for my family. I have not really seen her in about 18years due to being in NZ and she in the UK. She had been over once since i have been here but i did not spend much time with her. And since then she has not been in a fit state to come back. I am just happy she got to see one of my Kids before she past away. Me and the wife and kids where planing to go back in 2013 and it would of been good to see her.

I hope my Dad will be ok, he has missed her and he trys to get back as much as he can. I know if he could he would of been there.

Hart goes out to all the Robos out there we will miss you Nana Robo.

Yay new PC at work

My boss got me a new pc at work, yay been annoying him alot for the past 6 months. Work will be alot easier now. This is more a thanks to him for getting it for me, i know i am a pain in the ass.

Daddy and Ronon Day out 2/5/2012

Went out to the http://www.manukaulivesteamers.co.nz/ today one i have been wanting to goto for a while but weather has not been that good for a while. I was told to have a dad/son day with my son Ronon, so i though this would be a good chance. Its about the only Rail thing left in Auckland that me and my son have not done. I think all we have left now is the train into the witaks in Henderson and the trans at Motat. What i will save for another good day. This day out was better than expected sun was out when we got there it was bigger and there where more trains there than i thought. We had about 12 rides on different trains at only $2 a ride whats a deal Ronon loved it. There was about 10+ trains there that day with a mix of steam and diesel, even if you are not really into trains and have kids this could easy be a cheap family day out and alot of fun. 

The new Blog

Hello All

I have been told by many to start writing a blog. My modelling is not just my 40k Warhammer but also my model trains.

I will be starting with most of my model train stuff as it is more complex in the sense of the wiring and work it takes to do something that you think would be simple. 

I have also in many years of working with models trains found it is hard to get good info and you tend to need to fail at things in order to find out how to do it correctly. 

Since my two kids have come along I have limited space in my house so my train layout is gone and plans on starting a new one are in progress. The first plans of that are creating a whole EWS fleet with DCC sound. As most UK train modellers will know in N scale there is little or no sound locos around at present and the ones that do have sound have been converted. This is what I will be blogging about. 

I will also be showing how these conversions occur so that you might be able to try this out.

On the Warhammer 40k side of things I will be blogging about my progress through my armies and the completion of them. At present I have two armies left to complete. This involves a repaint of my Rogue Trader army and my Crimson Fists Army. 

I will also show what I have already done on my past armies.
